When Apple launched the new iPhone 6 last week it also offered users U2’s new album for free, but not everyone was happy with the release automatically on their phones.

While U2’s Songs of Innocence has been listened to more than 33 million times, people complained that they were being pushed into having the album without their consent. The involuntary download was ridiculed by Apple users and called a stunt gone wrong.

Now Apple has issued a way to remove the album from a device with a handy step by step process available on the iTunes website.

The album is free to anyone who wants it until October 13th, 2014 and will be available for purchase after that date. Even though the album can be easily deleted it is still making people angry as they vent on social media.
