The Ravens provided the opportunity on Friday and fans lined up for blocks to rid themselves of the jersey. According to the Ravens, the event will also take place on Saturday, but due to the overwhelming demand the most popular sizes and players have already run out and those looking to exchange will be given a voucher for future purchase.

A video obtained by TMZ was released to the public showing an incident between Rice and his fiancée in an elevator in which he punches her in the face, knocking her out for several minutes. On Friday, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell made his first public appearance in more than a week to address the handling of the Rice incident and other recent domestic violence incidents involving players. He announced a major overhaul to the league’s personal conduct policies and its handling of domestic violence cases involving NFL players.

By the looks of how many fans that are willing to give up their favourite player’s jersey the fans won’t be forgiving Rice anytime soon for the disturbing and violent incident.
