It's one thing to make sure your shoes go well with your outfit, but the streets of NYC as well?

Artist Trina Merry is a bodypainter, and her new series actually blends models into the scenery in New York City.

“My surface is living, breathing human beings making this a highly relevant and immediate medium," Merry said. "The painting is temporary, like a Tibetan sand painting, beginning to change into another work as soon as I stop painting, changing texture and colour.”

She painted and photographed models standing in front of various sights in New York, and in some pictures, it's almost difficult to see where the landscape ends and the model begins.

“My series is an homage, and a challenge, to Big Apple women who feel the need to blend in with everyone else in Gotham,” said Merry.
