It took all summer to compile the votes but the 2014 Cintas Canada’s Best Restroom contest but a winner has been crowned for the annual award.

The 2012 Cintas Canada contest winner is the Shaw Club Hotel & Spa in Niagara on the Lake, Ontario. With a chic design and clear to clouded glass door technology the restroom is top notch.

“Each year we look for establishments who understand the importance of first impressions and the impact a clean and well stocked restroom has on their business, and this year’s winner clearly demonstrates this critical message,” says Cintas’ Senior Marketing Manager, Leslie Molin.

Cintas say the restroom has advanced technology, a glass infinity sink and goes above and beyond to provide a one of a kind experience.

Coming in second place is the Calgary Zoo, followed by the Vancouver Airport and Patria in Toronto.

"We are thrilled to present this award and this year’s prize of $2,500 in Cintas services to such a deserving establishment,” said Molin. “This prize will provide the Shaw Club with the tools and services they need to maintain their facility at an award-winning level.”

The 2014 finalists were selected based on cleanliness, visual appeal, innovation, and design and thousands of votes were cast online until September 30th, 2014. Shaw Club Hotel & Spa and the Calgary Zoo will receive the coveted Canada’s Best Restroom plaques of recognition and secure their place in the Canada’s Best Restroom Hall of Fame.
