Those passing through Kelowna International Airport (YLW) will notice something new on their way to the departure gates as a new art installation is on display.

Penticton based artist Johann Wessels has created the installation entitled Side Show for the Kelowna Art Gallery. The installation is located in the gallery space located near the security screening area of the airport. Wessels’ creation depicts a caravan of wheeled carts or wagons, reminiscent of a travelling carnival.

The artist uses a mix of realism and distortion to create the impressive images, which features dark and light visions. Side Show will be on display until May 11th, 2015 at YLW.
