A monkey in France was neutralized with a Taser recently after it was busted for terrorizing students at a school in Marseille.
The monkey in question had been terrorizing an elementary school and even scratched some students according to local reports. The monkey was said to be hopped up on chocolates that had been given to him by students before his rampage began. Causing problems for students taking test, scratching at their legs and necks the North African macaque was believed to have been an illegal pet.
On Monday authorities caught up with the trouble maker, who bit an officer before being put down with the electrical charge. The animal was taken to a local veterinary clinic and police are trying to locate its owner. Officers did not want to kill the animal and used the Taser instead as a more humane way of dealing with it.
