It might be a heart-attack in every bite, but it sure is a tasty one. The bacon lovers, beer-battered foodies extraordinaire over at Thrillist landed on pure gold with the new bacon-wrapped onion ring.

Basic breaded onion rings are so 2014. At your next shindig, serve these sure-to-be crowd pleasers and bask in the glory of being the best host ever.

Using rich stout batter and deliciously smoked Canadian bacon, you can create your very own bacon onion rings.

All you need is two large vidalia onions, vegetable oil, 12 ounces of stout beer, two cups of all-purpose flour, two pounds of sliced bacon, and two cups of jarred queso.
