The ‘Snow Artist’ as Beck is affectionately known as, is the first ever artistic adventure artist in North America. Beck creates the masterpieces using detailed geometrical designs, a compass, a map drawing and a pair of trusty show shoes to make the tracks in the snow.

Beck first accomplished a large-scale drawing, which he carefully tracked out, and was surrounded by dramatic mountain peaks on the majestic Peyto Lake, located along the Icefields Parkway. This took over six hours to create and measured 450 metres from tip to tip.

Next he moved on to Sunshine Village to create a large maple leaf, before heading to Lake Louise Ski Resort to create a howling wolf.
