Talk about having some mean friends! A new mom in Perth, Australia recently shared a letter sent to her from some mean spirited friends complaining that she “shares” too much about her baby on Facebook.

The letter sent to Jade Ruthven has gone viral since appearing online via Australian media personality Em Rusciano. The letter was dropped off anonymously to Ruthven and it asks her, rudely, to stop posting photos of her new baby.

“We can’t wait for you to get back to work – maybe you won’t have time to be on Facebook quite so much,” reads the letter.

But it doesn’t stop there, the friends go on to complain about the “spamming” they receive from Ruthven.

“I have got together with a few of the girls and we are all SO OVER your running commentary of your life and every single thing Addy does.”

Yikes. I guess Ruthven’s friends would rather not keep up to date about their friend and her new bundle of joy. But to send an anonymous letter telling her? Perhaps everyone would have been better off just unsubscribing to her updates, or even by deleting her as a friend. There has been speculation that the letter is a fake, but according to the rumor busting website Snopes, it’s the real deal.

A facebook community has been launched to show support for the mom, who is now trending on the internet.
