We’ve all heard of people being stuck on airplanes for hours on end and the unfortunate conditions endured by people, but this story has a unique twist.

Recently a Delta Airlines flight was grounded at the Knoxville airport in Tennessee. The pilot on the flight decided to do something truly awesome and throw a pizza party for the cabin full of passengers. People tend to get very annoyed being stuck on the tarmac for hours on end, but not these happy folks.

The 2:00 p.m. flight was originally from Philadelphia, heading to Atlanta, but was diverted after bad weather hit in Georgia. Many passengers took to social media to show the great work by the pilot and crew of Delta airlines, and their enjoyment of the free Pizza Hut pizza.
