Glenn is a 10-year-old Jack Russell and is completely blind, but luckily he has a guide dog to help him out. His best friend Buzz is a nine-year-old Staffie and works like Glenn’s eyes as he helps him get around. The two dogs are at a stray dog charity in North East England as they wait to be adopted out as a pair. Stray Aid recently posted on Facebook a photo of the duo and their story, asking if anyone would be able to adopt them, and that post has gone viral.

“Glenn needs a home where the layout will be fairly unchanged to prevent him bumping into things. Because of Glenn's visual problems he cannot be rehomed with young children, it wouldn't be fair on him, too many surprises,” said Stray Aid on Facebook.

The outpouring of support for the two pups has been tremendous as media outlets across the world have picked up the unique duo. Stray Aid has received messages from all over the world as a result, from North Carolina to the Netherlands.

“We quite literally have tears in our eyes at the kindness and generosity shown by lovely folks touched by Buzz & Glenn's story. If you have a couple of pounds to spare, you could make such a difference to the lives of all the dogs in our care,” said Stray Aid in response to all the media coverage.

The dogs have yet to be adopted out, but with all the attention they have been receiving, it is just a matter of time before someone takes them to their forever home.
