British Columbia’s back country is pretty amazing. From the lush green rockies and the gorgeous blue glacier lakes, it’s hard not to fall in love. But the best part of wilderness has to be the stellar array of critters roaming through the dense forest, particularly this adorable marmot.

Captured on Blackcomb Mountain in Whistler, this little guy thinks he’s real tough. Perched on a balcony overlooking the mountain side, the marmot puffs out his chest and starts to scream at the curious human onlookers.

Check out the video here and just try not to burst out laughing. And don’t worry, he’s not as scary as he looks.
