January 15th is World Snow Day with 478 events in 46 countries planned to take place to give children the chance to explore, enjoy and experience the snow.

“This is now our sixth edition of World Snow Day and we could not be prouder of the dedication, hard work and effort of the Organizers. Their work is making a difference and we look forward to celebrating the day” commented FIS president Gian Franco Kasper.

The sixth edition of World Snow Day will see eight nationwide initiatives. Austria, Canada, China, Iceland, Latvia, Poland, Lithuania and Russia are participating by staging events throughout their nation.
