On Saturday morning Kelowna locals gathered at the Rotary Centre for the Arts to show their support for those in our community battling and or recovering from Cancer.

The event that attracted over 30 locals was the first ever Kelowna InspireHealth Rain Walk, a 2.5 km along the beautiful Kelowna boardwalk to help raise funds for InspireHealth’s programs and initiatives.

InspireHealth provides supportive care for people during and after standard cancer treatments by giving them emotional, physical and spiritual support.

Their clinicians offer a number of support initiatives from nutrition advice and exercise therapy,  to stress management and counseling services, all free of charge.

The race kicked off with a fun warm up inside the RCA and time for the participants to chat and browse the raffle and silent auction items before embarking on their walk in the sun.
