The long weekend is nearly here and with it comes a host of ways to celebrate our great nation’s 152nd birthday!

As we know long weekends tend to be busy for everyone, we wanted to help alleviate some of the stress by putting together a quick guide of Canada Day celebrations taking place from Vernon to Peachland.

SilverStar

For those of you interested in heading somewhere new this year, SilverStar is offering some great Canada Day festivities for you to enjoy.

Families are invited to participate in a number of kid-friendly activities including pony rides, inflatables and free summer tubing, in addition to munching on some birthday cake and snow cones.

Afterward, parents are invited to take in the live music and bbq at the beverage gardens! The Canada-themed kicks off at noon and carries on all day.
