Gellatly Nut Farm came to life on Saturday night with twinkling lights and holiday cheer, thanks to the Winter Magic event.

From 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. attendees are able to enjoy a winter walk through the sparkling grove, accompanied by festive tunes and afterward, cozy up by the fire.

Hosted by the Parks Department of the Regional District of the Central Okanagan, the event welcomes locals to celebrate the beauty of this regional park year round.

Saturday evening marked the kick off of the two-day event and saw dozens of locals come by to take in the festive sights. Among attendees was special guest, Santa Claus, who later hung out at The Cove posing for selfies.

In addition to the brilliantly illuminated trees, visitors can enjoy a tour of the nut farm's heritage house, marshmallow roasting and a hot cup of cocoa, if you bring your own mug.

Winter Magic is back for round two tonight, so don't worry if you missed out on yesterday's fun, as there are plenty more instagrammable moments to be had.

Parking may be limited on site but additional spots will be available at the neighbouring Cove Lakeside Resort.
