On Friday afternoon, we surprised our first deserving recipient of the Give Someone A Lift contest.
Give Someone A Lift is a contest created by KelownaNow and powered by Kelowna Chevrolet, where people within the community nominate a peer, co-worker, friend or family member that they think need a little pick me up.
KelownaNow and Kelowna Chevrolet team members met up to deliver our first winner, Connie Fox, with two tickets to Circus Soleil, a $50 gas card and a bouquet of KelownaNow balloons.
“I had a really bad year last year, so this means a lot and hopefully 2018 is brighter,” said Fox, who was nominated by her cousin Pam Nikon after losing her son in 2017.
