Ever since Strawberries hit the shelves of local fruit stands last weekend, we have had a craving for other juicy red fruits.

Cherry season is one that is highly anticipated in Kelowna and with the warm weather and higher volume of rain we have been hoping they would pop up early.

KelownaNow went on the hunt to find out just when we can expect to see cherries in our fruit salads, and where we can get our hands on them.

Though cherry season is still a few days away for Don O Ray’s, we can still be excited over the other fresh and delicious fruit and veggies they do have.

We want to know when you spot cherries and where you’ve found them! Share your tips with news@kelownanow.com or tag us in your photos using #KelownaNow.
