It’s the weekend here in Kelowna, and that means local hot spot and Best of Kelowna gold winner for best burger, Central Kitchen + Bar, have announced their new celebrity burger. We at KelownaNow are pretty psyched to announce that Central's Celeb Burger this weekend features us with, The Stuff That Matters Burger!

Introducing the “Stuff That Matters” burger, created in honour of KelownaNow’s parents, Jim and Nikki Csek. This burger isn’t only making headlines for its witty name, but for the fact that it really is filled with all the fixings that matter to any burger lover.

Made with Central’s famous burger patty, stacked high with fried green tomato, arugula, house made guacamole, swiss cheese and of course some crispy maple black pepper bacon, the tastiness of this hearty burger should be national news.

KelownaNow's COO Sam Hill, of course, had to taste test the franken-burger that was masterminded from our very own newsroom.

“I would probably eat this burger every day, seriously,” said Hill, and not to toot our own horn, but we probably would too #humbled #noshame.

In all seriousness though, we are honoured to be featured as Central’s Celebrity Burger of the Week and we take great pride in our community and all of you who read our stories and send us your feedback! #blessed

You too can indulge in this tasty burger if you pop by Central Kitchen + Bar sometime between Friday evening and Sunday, June 18th.

We want to KNow what you think of the “Stuff That Matters” burger! Tag us in your selfies while digging in by using #KelownaNow. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
