Today is the day lovers and hopeless romantics look forward all year, It’s Valentine’s Day! A day where heart-shaped chocolates, roses and pink are sprinkled throughout homes, classrooms and workplaces, all in the name of love.
Whether you choose to use to the day to celebrate your significant other or to simply remind those around you that you appreciate them, the warm and fuzzies that tag along with today can’t be beat!
Getting into the festive spirit of Valentine’s Day, NowMedia set out to spread the love on this rather chilly, snow-dusted day. We set up shop at the Sails statue in downtown Kelowna, handing out dozens of red roses to all who passed and offering the opportunity to spread the love with an on camera Valentine’s message.
From adorable couples to best friends, families and even some members of the RCMP — we got to meet some wonderful people and see some beautiful smiles!
