Youths Flip Smart Car, RCMP Looking for Witnesses

Kelowna RCMP say a group of youths are suspected of flipping a smart car late Thursday evening and are looking for witnesses.

Shortly before 11:00 p.m. the RCMP received a report of mischief in the parking lot of the Rutland Arena. A group of youths flipped a Smart FourTwo car onto its side causing extensive damage.

According to police two of the youths were detained for questioning but later released without charges to their parents.

Police say the investigation is ongoing and are now looking for witnesses who were in the area and directed police to the incident.
