Collision on the Okanagan Connector Stops Westbound Traffic

An accident on the Okanagan Connector has closed two lanes of the highway as crews deal with a collision.

According to DriveBC westbound traffic was delayed just before 4:30 p.m. because of an incident near the Loon Lake Road exit. Photos posted from the scene show an air ambulance helicopter arriving at the accident and it appears at least one truck was involved.

Westbound lanes are still closed because of the accident and there is no estimated time of opening available. Check DriveBC for the latest updates. We’ll have more information as it becomes available.
