Motorists should be prepared to run into minor overnight delays along Highway 97 between Ethel Street and Gordon Drive as road work is conducted.

Overnight lane closures will be in effect beginning Monday September 29th and will last until Friday October 10th. Drivers can expect the closures from 9:30 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. as crews extend the eastbound left turn lane. Left-turns will still be in operation in that location, but a portion of the lane and the adjacent eastbound lane will be cordoned off for construction crews.

The project will also upgrade the intersection at Gordon Drive to Highway 97 to maintain traffic flow and ensure safety along the busy truck route.
