RCMP Looking for Missing Kelowna Teen

Update: The missing girl was found safe and sound Thursday night. 

Kelowna RCMP is asking for the public’s help in finding a missing teenaged girl who was last seen on August 26th, 2014.

Sophia Yousif, 17, is believed to be in either Vancouver or Kelowna and police are looking for information about her whereabouts. There is no indication of foul play in her disappearance, according to RCMP Cst. Kris Clark. Yousif is described as Caucasian, 5’7” and 126 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes.

While Yousif has not had contact with family, she has been active on her social media accounts, with her latest post dated on September 19th.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to contact RCMP or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
