The Small Business BC Awards will recognize some of the best and top local businesses in the province and you can participate by nominating your favourite local business.
Nominations are open for the 2015 awards and this year there are 10 award categories including two new awards for best emerging entrepreneur and best immigrant entrepreneur. Nominations and voting are open until November 30th, 2014 and are accepted by both the business owners and third party nominations.
The Small Business BC Awards contest is open to all new and existing businesses registered in BC with fewer than 50 employees. Until November 30th nominated businesses will have to gather as many votes as possible and the top 10 businesses with the most votes will move on to the next stage of the contest.

There are currently several small businesses in the Okanagan that have been nominated including Culinary Ink, Kekuli Café, Mavazi Apparel, So Country Radio, The Habitat and more.
