People in Vernon are star struck after seeing actor Anthony Hopkins touring around the town.

Hopkins is in the North Okanagan filming his latest movie Go With Me and was recently spotted at the Village Green Centre in Vernon. Here he poses with Things Engraved store manager Nancy.

Another local captured the actor onset of the movie, which is mainly being filmed in Enderby.

Go With Me will be directed by Swedish director Daniel Alfredson who directed the hugely successful international films, The Girl Who Played with Fire and The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet’s Nest. The film is co-produced with, Anthony Hopkins, Ellen Goldsmith-Vein, Lindsay Williams, and Gregory Jacobs, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Joe Gangemi. The film is based on the novel of the same name which was written by Castle Freeman Jr.
