Development is in the near future for the City of Vernon as contract company, King Hoe Construction Ltd., has been hired to begin construction on flood protection works in the Okanagan Landing area. The project will start the week of November 23rd and ending in December 2014.

The majority of the construction will take place on the west side of the Marshall Fields site and will result in a detour of the multi-use path. The City asks residents to please use the posted detour routes during this time.

The public is reminded to obey construction signs, flaggers and posted speed limits through construction zones.

For further information on this project, visit the City of Vernon website.
