A vehicle collision on Monday night involved a semi rolling over by the hairpin curve on Highway 33 East.

Kelowna RCMP responded at 10:30 p.m. Monday night to Highway 33 near Goudie Road, the location of a sharp hairpin. The truck was coming into the corner when it slid across the oncoming lane and hit a concrete barrier. According to Cst. Kris Clark, the truck rolled about 100 metres before landing overturned.

There were no overt injuries at the incident, though some soreness for the driver.

It is believed that both weather and road conditions are contributing factors in the crash.
