A stalled vehicle on the Channel Parkway in Penticton nearly caused a slip into the water.

According to Corporal Richardson from the Penticton RCMP, at approximately 6:47 p.m. Saturday evening, a stalled vehicle caused another vehicle following behind to lose control and slide down the embankment, nearly plunging into the water.

The vehicle tried to swerve out of the stalled car's way, but considering the ground was wet, the driver couldn't regain control of the vehicle.

Penticton RCMP and B.C. Ambulance crews were in attendance at the scene. There were no reports of serious injuries.
