The officer who won the internet lip synching to Taylor Swift is back.

This time Cpl Jeff Davis had his partner in stopping crime to join him, and the two cruise around Dover and sing their hearts out. Working on the popularity of Dover Police’s last “Dashcam Confessional” where the department claimed they’d just found the footage, the new video is simply recorded from a dashcam as if catching the officers in the act.

While Cpl Davis’s partner, fellow officer Demetrius Stevenson, acts a bit confused at first, he quickly gets into the songs and bobs his head along. By “Turn Down for What?”, Stevenson has his own groove going. One of the best parts is when Cpl Davis stops the squad car and just stares at his partner, crooning out the lyrics.

Dover Police keep up the humour on their Facebook page. (Photo Credit: Facebook)

The video starts a bit slowly, but these officers ramp it up until they’re both singing along. Though it’s hard to imagine a video that can match the original, Dover Police says that’s not the intention. To a reply on Facebook saying that it’s not as good as the first, the department said this:

“Probably will never hit that level of popularity again, but that's not the goal. Our intentions are to engage the community we serve. If we reach outside of that, that's wonderful, but at the end of the day-all that matters is that our citizens view us as approachable and friendly faces in times of need. We just have a unique way of doing it”
