A man in Germany is getting a lot of attention this week because he decided to deal with his break-up in a very unusual way.

A YouTube video surfaced on Tuesday by someone thanking his partner for the last 12 years. The anonymous video titled For Laura is a sarcastic thank you for the “beautiful” 12 years the couple spent together. “You’ve really earned your half” says the scorned lover.

It seems the relationship has ended and everything has been split down the middle, literally. The 90 second video shows someone cutting everything the coupled owned in half, with precision. Everything is split down the middle, an iPhone 5, a bed frame, chair, and even a vehicle.

The video is accompanied by an eBay listing for a handful of the half items including chairs, mailbox, a bike, cordless phone, sofa, and teddy bear.

“She wanted as much as possible of my hard-earned possessions as she could get. Generously, I have neatly separated her half,” writes the seller.

The video has more than 2.7 million views and surprisingly some of the halved items for sale on eBay even have bids on them. I guess that’s one way to split your stuff at the end of the relationship.
