A tiger cub was found wandering alone in San Jacinto, California on Thursday and was brought into a local animal shelter.

"It was an exciting day today at Ramona Humane Society," stated a Facebook post from the organization. "As an open admission shelter we except all animals including this tiger found in our community. The California Fish and Wildlife Department transferred the 3 month old male cub to the Forever Wild Exotic Animal Sanctuary in Phelan."

This cub was found with a hernia and declawed feet. Forever Wild posted to Facebook shortly after the transfer to their facility was announced, saying that they had received the tiger and that they are administering medical care.

Due to the condition of his feet and the fact that American law forbids the release of captive-born animals into the wild, the cub will not at any point be set free. He is currently in medical quarantine, but this video posted by Ramona Humane Society has been getting a lot of attention.
