Better knock on wood, but spring seems to be slowly sneaking its way into BC's southern Interior.

While the long and snowy winter didn't offer much in the way of clear skies along the Coquihalla, one drone operator managed to capitalize on a rare cloud-free day.

Released last week on YouTube, the drone footage provides a beautiful and relaxing look at one of Canada's most dangerous stretches of highway.

According to one commenter, the drone is in danger of breaching the 400-foot limit set for flying above highways.

However, in response, the operator claims the drone has a regulated altitude limiter for that very reason and the footage appears to be higher than it actually as a result of the camera's wide-angle lens.
