A group of five-year-olds got the best possible surprise on their first day of the ‘Rippers’ ski school program at SilverStar.

The kids were surprised by a number of eight-week-old Bernese mountain dog puppies who being introduced to snow for the first time.

It was a beautiful moment that was caught on video and you can see the kids’ faces light up with smiles.

Soon after, a group of fully grown Bernese mountain dogs surprised skiers and snowboarders in SilverStar’s village, spreading the smiles to all who interacted with them.

The entire thing was recorded and posted to the resort’s social media account, quickly being liked and shared by many.

It’s too adorable not to share and it’s also a great chance to remind people that SilverStar is dog-friendly and offers an optional ‘pet pass’ that raises money for the SPCA.

If you bring your dog up to the mountain, remember that they need to be leashed at all times!
