Canada has stood together in the wake of the tragic Humboldt Broncos bus crash.

That includes the Canadian Forces Snowbirds, who paid tribute to the team over the weekend.

The snowbirds performed a missing man formation tribute for the Broncos, which is a long-time Air Force tradition used to honour those who have passed away in service of their country.

Although the 16 people who died aboard that bus weren’t serving their country, you’d be hard-pressed to find a single Canadian that had an issue with this tribute.

Along with performing the missing man formation, the Snowbirds also displayed the Humboldt Broncos logo on their planes and on the runway.

This isn’t the first thing the Royal Canadian Air Force has done to pay tribute to the Humboldt Broncos.

Hundreds of service men and women from across Canada donned their favourite jerseys for jersey day last week and they took some epic photos to show them off.
