Police are investigating a suspected homicide in Edson, Alberta.

RCMP said they discovered three bodies in a rural home just west of Edmonton late on Sunday afternoon at around 1:50 p.m.

The three individuals found include that of a man, a woman, and a teenage girl, and police said they all appear to have suffered some sort of trauma.

The three people were all residents of the home, but police would not confirm their relationship. Details are slim at this point, as an autopsy has yet to be conducted. However, police believe that this incident was not a murder-homicide.

There have been no arrests made yet at this time. Police are expected to release additional information later Monday afternoon.

Police said the public is not at risk.
