RCMP has released a Youtube video about a 20-year-old woman who is wanted on a Canada-wide warrant.

Marissa Shephard of Moncton, New Brunswick is wanted for first-degree murder and arson. Shephard is wanted in connection to the violent murder of 18-year-old Baylee Wylie, which happened on December 17th.

The Canada-wide warrant was first issued in December and along with Shephard the warrant was issued for 18-year-old Tyler Noel as well.

“Anyone who is helping these two evade police can be charged with accessory after the fact to commit first degree murder,” said Sgt. André Pepin with the Codiac Regional RCMP. “The murder of Baylee Wylie was extremely violent. These two should be considered dangerous and not be approached.”

The video released by the RCMP shows that Shephard can easily change her appearance and it was released in hopes that someone in Canada would have more information about where the pair may be.

“It has been six weeks since the tragic death of Baylee Wylie,” says Cst. Jullie Rogers-Marsh. “It’s important for the public to know we are still actively investigating his violent murder and we are asking people to share the video on social media as much as possible in hopes that someone knows where police can find Marissa Shephard.”

Shephard, who is a young mother to a son is described as Caucasian, 167 cm (5'5") tall and weighs approximately 45kg (100lbs). She has brown eyes and brown hair.

She also has a tattoo of the name “Stephen” on her neck and a crown on her chest.

RCMP is unsure if Shepard is still in the east coast of Canada or has travelled west.

Anyone with information about the young woman is asked to call 911 immediately, the Codiac RCMP at 506-857-2400, or Crime Stopped at 1-800-222-TIPS.
