Juno Award Nominees Announced

The nominations were rolling in by the second Tuesday morning for the 45th Annual Juno Awards.

The awards will be held in Calgary on Sunday April 3rd, with Juno week first kicking off on March 28th.

Some noteable acts have been nominated for multiple awards including Justin Beiber, Drake, and The Weeknd.

For album of the year, If you’re Reading This It’s Too Late by Drake, A Paradis City by Jean Leloup, Purpose by Justin Bieber, Handwritten by Shawn Mendes,and Beauty Behind The Madness by The Weeknd were nominated.

For single of the year, Here by Alessia Cara, Hotline Bling by Drake, What Do You Mean? by Justin Bieber, Clothes Off by Ria Mae and Can’t Feel My Face by The Weeknd made the list.

For country lovers out there, Autumn Hill, Brett Kissel, Dean Brody, High Valley and Paul Brandt have all been nominated for country album of the year.

Up for artist of the year, are City and Colour, Drake, Justin Bieber, Shawn Mendes, and The Weeknd.

Finally, group of the year nominees include Hedley, Marianas Trench, Metric, Three Days Grace and Walk Off The Earth.
