One Canadian restaurant chain is reaching out in hopes of partnering with one of the biggest in the biz.

Freshii has released an open letter to fast food giant Subway in hopes of working together to open more Freshii locations.

According to company founder and CEO Matthew Corrin, Subway has overextended their reach my opening a total of 44,000 restaurants globally and would instead be better off with about 30,000 locations.

“Let’s explore a partnership in which we together convert select Subway stores to Freshii restaurants in a quick, low-cost way. Let’s continue to change the way the world eats, together,” wrote Corrin. “Over time, we too will open thousands of Freshii restaurants around the world.”

Corrin says the conversion would cost around $75,000 on average with equipment included.

Freshii is known for serving up a healthy and customizable menu, with a goal of helping people live healthier lives with convenient and affordable food.

Their menu includes salads, bowls, burritos, wraps, soups, juices, smoothies and frozen yogurt, that energizes people on-the-go.

Since opening its first store in 2005, Freshii has grown to 244 stores located across 15 countries and in more than 30 states and provinces in North America as of September 25, 2016.

They also have locations in Europe and the Middle East.
