UPDATE: April 28th:

Another pie shell has been added to the list of recalls for E.coli 0121 contamination.

The latest pie shell added to the recall is Mom's Pantry/Jim & Leonie, both the 3" unsweetened tart shell (90 x 19 grams) and the 9" unbaked pie lids (15 x 142 grams).

An Edmonton-based pie company, Harlan Bakeries, had its pie shells recalled on April 25th for E. coli 0121 contamination.

This is a national food recall that was first issued as a warning by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency back on April 12th.

Additional information during the investigation led to the recall on Tuesday.

The following products have been recalled and should not be consumed:

The CFIA also advises that raw flour can be contaminated with E.coli 0121 even though it may not "look or smell spoiled but can still make you sick."
