Health Canada has issued a recall for yet another hand sanitizer brand after its contents were found to contain ingredients that “may pose health risks.”
Both technical-grade ethanol and ethanol denaturants are not compliant with federal regulations and were found in the recalled sanitizer.
As a result, Canadians are now being advised to stop using the following sanitizer:
- Clean & Green Hand Sanitizer Gel
In July, Health Canada issued a similar recall that identified several brands of hand sanitizer to contain technical-grade ethanol.
- Visibly Clean Hand Sanitizer
- Sanify Hand Sanitizer
- Protectenol Hand Sanitizer
- Med Clean Hand Sanitizer
- Avery Essentials Hand Sanitizer
- Ascencia Désinfectant pour les mains
- Alco-Klean / Magiechem Inc. - Assainisseur À Base D'Éthanol 80%V/V
- Agape Hand Sanitizer
