The body of Joshua Wall, age 26, was found this morning after he disappeared during Newfoundland’s recent snowstorm.

Wall went missing after leaving his home on Jan. 17, 2020 to walk to a friend’s house in the midst of the severe blizzard that hit the province.

Early this morning, Bay Roberts RCMP responded to a call reporting that a body was found off of Roaches Line. The body was confirmed to be Wall.

Search efforts for Wall included the use of ground search teams, police dogs, snowmobiles and helicopters. Search efforts were hampered by weather conditions at certain points.

Wall was walking from Roaches Line to Marysvale, and police initially believed that he went missing in a wooded area between the two locations.
