Believe it or not, the holiday season has arrived and Canada Post is already reporting a surge in parcel shipments.

According to the corporation, nearly three million parcels were delivered during the final days of November, with a whopping 2.1-million being send on Monday, Nov. 30.

As the pandemic continues to drive more people than ever before to online shopping, Canada Post has updated its holiday deadlines for guaranteed delivery.

Now is the time to send your letters to Santa to get a response in time for Christmas. It’s a long way to the North Pole and back!

The dates now now span from early to mid-December based on how far the package is going and whether the shipper pays for regular, express, or priority shipping.

Shipping earlier will not only ensure that packages arrive at their destination on time, but it’s also one of the easiest ways to save money on shipping.
