(Update: June 12, 2019): The Toronto Police have announced that an arrest has been made in relation of an alleged assault with a weapon last week.
On Thursday at about 4:29 p.m., officers responded to a call in the area of Bloor Street West and Christie Street.
Police said that a man and woman were walking with their infant baby when they were approached by a man riding a bicycle.
The man then reportedly threw a bottle containing a corrosive substance at the family. Police confirmed that the family received minor injuries as a result of the incident.
On Sunday at 3:45 p.m., Massimo Ionno, age 45, of Toronto, was located and arrested. He faces several charges, including three counts of assault with a weapon, "administer noxious substance" and three counts of public mischief.

The Toronto Police are trying to identify and locate a man wanted for an alleged assault on a young family.
On Thursday, June 6, 2019, at approximately 4:29 p.m., officers responded to a call for an unknown trouble in the area of Bloor Street West and Christie Street.
Police said that a man and woman were walking with their infant baby when they were approached by a man riding a bicycle.
The man then reportedly threw a bottle containing a corrosive substance at the family.
Police confirm that the family received minor injuries as a result of the incident.
After the assault, the man fled the area screaming and yelling. He headed west on Bloor Street then possibly went south on Grace Street.
The suspect is described as male, white, with wavy blond hair, wearing a baseball hat with a red maple leaf logo, dark sweater with a red shirt underneath and beige cargo shorts.
He was last seen carrying a black Uber eats backpack, riding on a black mountain style bicycle.
