Canada is well known for its friendly nature, but which Canadian city is the most welcoming?

That's what travel company Expedia set out to discover with its Friendlist Communities and Towns in Canada list.

To create the report, Expedia looked at hotel review data from over 750 Canadian destinations during 2017 and rounded up the cities with the combined highest scores.

The ratings helped determine the most “helpful, dutiful, and welcoming experiences across the country.”

The towns and communities picked by Expedia all had at least 100 reviews and a four-star rating or higher.
