As with any country full of passionate, devoted citizens, Canadians come with their own Rolodex of common slang, eh.

Whether you need two loonies for a toonie, or you're just out for a rip to grab a two-four, visitors can easily get turned around by what they assumed was going to be English.

Luckily, travel website Expedia has created a guide to Canadian slang for all travelors coming into Canada.

“It’s not easy meeting people when you’re travelling,” says Expedia. “The locals have their own words to describe everyday things. If only there was some way you could crack their code.”

So if you have and foreign friends visiting, run this guide by them and they'll be sure to win any Canucks heart in no time.

You're welcome, eh.
