If you’re looking to find a place to rent, British Columbia and Ontario are tough places to be.

PadMapper has released its monthly Canadian rent report and Montreal is the only city outside those two provinces to make the top 10.

For the second month in a row, Kelowna is seventh on the list, tied with Ottawa at $1,250 per month for an average one bedroom rentals.

That puts Kelowna fourth in B.C., as Vancouver, Burnaby and Victoria are all in the top five with rental prices of $1,390 or higher.

When it comes to two bedroom rentals, Kelowna is a little higher on the list, crawling into the top five with an average price of $1,680.

Once again, Vancouver and Toronto leave the rest of Canada in the dust when it comes to rental prices.

Toronto tops the list for one bedroom rentals with an average of $2,260, but it’s Vancouver leading the way for two bedroom rentals with an astonishing median price of $3,150.
