A Tornado that ripped through parts of Ottawa and Gatineau, Quebec, yesterday has left extensive damage.

Houses and cars have been completely destroyed, while trees and telephone poles have been uprooted. Many homes inside of Dunrobin saw the most damage.

The Ottawa Hospital has confirmed that six people are being treated for storm-related injuries with two in critical condition and one with serious injuries.

Along with injuries, the storm left many without power including the hospital. According to Toronto Hydro, power is slowly being restored and they are now in the final stages of restoration as they work on reconnecting individual homes.

Ottawa Public Health is now offering mental health resources to the public as the storm may have left a psychological impact on many.
