The Royal Canadian Mint is all ready for the holidays with the release of its new festive coins.

The first of the two designs was created by artist Pandora Young of Vancouver. Made to look like a silver platter of iced cookies, the colorful coin features an adorable gingerbread man right on top!

In addition to being made out of an ounce of pure silver, the coin also features Murano glass for the gingerbread men, giving the coin a 3D design. Each of the smiling cookies are handmade, ensuring no two coins are the same.

A festive motif lines the edge of each coin, only adding to the illusion that this platter of special cookies would be fit for the man in red.

As always, the holiday coin will be limited edition with a mintage of only 5,500 available worldwide, and each will be available for $139.95.

Queen Elizabeth II is featured on the obverse along with an engraving of the coin’s face value of $20.

The second holiday coin, designed by Anna Bucciarelli, has sadly already sold out.

With a limited mintage of 1,000 available worldwide, the Christmas Train coin features a 3D sterling silver Christmas tree and a gravity-activated moving train.

Made out five oz of pure silver in addition to a wreath of gold plating, this collector's item had a price tag of  $579.95 each with a face value of $50.
