A specific kind of WD-40 is being recalled because it has been classified as “very flammable.”

According to Health Canada, the WD-40 Specialist Silicone Smart Straw 2.0 has a flame projection of more than 100 cm (over three feet).

“The highly flammable nature of the product, if used incorrectly, could result in serious injury or death,” the recall says.

The recall says the product is prohibited from manufacture, import, advertisement or sale under the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act.

However, 10,584 units managed to be sold in Canada.

The affected products, which come in a blue, silver and yellow metal container with an extendable straw, were sold between February and September but no reports of injury have been reported.

Anyone who purchased the 311 g product should “immediately stop using the recalled product and dispose of it according to municipal hazardous waste requirements.”

The affected products have lot numbers 24039 M6, 24040 M6, and 24043 M6 and come with a UPC number 061536012790.
